Just got back from a weekend in Ashern Manitoba, where Donna, Katey and I were invited to speak at the annual Manitoba Firearms Coalition barbeque.
We had excellent whether for this well organized event that was held at the Granberg farm. The turnout, food and entertainment were all excellent. It was a pleasure to speak to the gathering there and participate in their social event. It's good to see so many dedicated people helping to keep firearms ownership alive and well in this country.
Local media was there to cover the event and after my talk I was presented with three generous donations towards the "Bruce Montague Scrap C-68 Fund":
1- Manitoba Firearms Coalition donated $1500.00
2- Whitetail and Walleye Game & Fish Association donated $250.00
3- Lake Manitoba Narrows Game & Fish Association donated $1000.00
It's very encouraging as we see more and more clubs and associations coming on side in this fight. Don't forget to encourage and thank those organizations that do get involved with actually trying to help protect our future of gun ownership in this country. With organizations like these willing to help, we are sure to legally assert our RIGHT to own and use firearms in this country.
Yours in Liberty,
Bruce.
P.S. Total raised at the BBQ was $2760. In case you're adding up the checks and notice there is an extra $10, it's because another individual donated as well.
