Just got the figures from Darlene Nordlund for our financial update.
I'm surprised to get it from her so promptly this month. She just
spent 4 days over the weekend in the ICU at the hospital!
Her red blood cell count got so low she passed out and went into
convulsions at home. Roger took her to the hospital and they found
her red cell count at 109 (should be 120). It proceeded to drop to 50
while they were testing her. Things were a little touch and go for a
while until they found the source of her blood loss. She had two
bleeding ulcers that she didn't even know about!
This woman is quite something! She's been an unmeasurable asset
providing efficient and reliable bookkeeping for the ScrapC-68 Court
Challenge. I'm sure thankful we have her on the team, and that her
health problems aren't too serious. (We were suspecting a stroke!)
We thank Darlene and the other unsung heros working behind the scenes
to keep the court challenge moving forward.
Yours in Liberty,
Bruce.
